Hallowed Halls swarm.....Why
I found it strange that the answer to making the game harder was to pack the hallowed Halls full of enemies. it doesn't make the combat any harder/challenging or more interesting, it only causes the players to get swarmed by the same AI mobs as before. Usually if you want to take them on then you need to be over leveled but that makes the loot of the halls pointless.

I'm hoping they eventually get around to improving the AI and replace the swarm of enemies with something else. Maybe less enemies and a boss or two with some interesting mechanics would be fun for a group of players to run into at various points in the halls and have to take down to continue to the treasure.

I think the glowy hunting is why you get given the suggestion to bring friends as a group can spread out and save a huge amount of time.

Wonder if those are something that could be adjusted by the number of players although finding the spawned ones within the cavernous arena probably would take any less time as you'd either get lucky or have to check every distant nook and cranny.
Skeletons always come in hordes, it's their MO.
Destroy their spawn points and they stop..

No he is spot on. How about you stop telling people to not post their opinion. Everyone is entitled to post what he thinks not just the ones who praise the devs.

I'm not reading all the garbage responses. I will say this - as a solo player, it's easy to take it slow. Yes you still get swarmed sometimes, but they aren't hard. What IS ridiculous is the Second dungeon boss (haven't tried the third as my roommate wanted to play together and I started a new character). I literally jumped off the side after many deaths and he got stuck and I was able to climb back up and kill him with range. His attack is basically instant death at Level 25 with all buffs. There is nothing to hide behind or much space to dodge his over-reaching attack. People want Dark Souls and they should go play those games. For this kind of game, I enjoy a bit more forgiving combat. I played Demon Souls and everything after that is the same depressing garbage. I'm having fun with this game, I just hope they add some kind of difficulty setting for those of us who want a more relaxed time in a great game.
Max lvl, go with a build mage/melee and a good skill tree its not that hard, and bufffood

You don't get the point of the post. First of all. it gives you the quest very early. which means they want you to go do it around that level in which they give you the quest.
Second if you wait to max level and do the things you said, there is no point to even doing them as the reward you get at the end is pointless. why go for some level 3 unique legendary that you will never use?

Point being. They need to make the end treasure always be worth it for you and make the Enemy AI better to make exploring/clearing the hall fun and exciting.
I did the Springlands Halls last night for the first time. I did watch a few videos and have been monitoring the posts on the Hallowed Halls update. From what I could see/read, a big two-handed weapon is a must. Having experimented last night with a few different weapons, I completely agree (attached below is what I used last night). I would add to that the jump and the double jump attack skills, and at least a couple of points in mele crits are also essential for most. As a squishy level 22 hunter, I also brought good food (fruit bowl, chicken soup and plenty of water). I also brought 20 medium healing pots ( I used 11 of them). At 22 with decent gear Springlands was not hard for me, just a fair amount of work. I'm pretty confident that I could survive Highlands at this point, but will wait. From reports the higher Halls, while all completable, would benefit from a pass through by the devs to smooth out the rough spots and fine tune the locations of the ectoplasm orbs, which locating a few seem to be a source of frustration.

Uh, I just did my first hallow halls at 10 and completed it... sure it was touch dealing with all the enemies, I ran out of healing supplies and ♥♥♥♥ but I still managed to complete it. With being under geared mind you. A lvl 10 with lower level armor and weapons fully upgraded. Stop complaining.
The new dungeons are a nice content addition until you get into one and find out how large they are and how much time it takes to complete one.

The second new dungeon, the one with the one-eyed boss thing that gives you a head needed as a crafting component for the new workstation, is brutal in its length and design.

Going back a second time just to snag another boss head to make a wall mounted trophy to add to the collection is ridiculous as there is no shortcut to the boss that I am aware of. You have to run the entire dungeon again from the beginning, unlocking every barrier along the way.

If you don’t have a couple of hours to spare to finish a dungeon in one setting, you might as well not even try as it resets and you have to start from the beginning the next time you log on.

The loot does not scale to the player so there is no incentive to go spend two hours in a dungeon meant for beginners.

Great idea but poorly executed.
Create a Melee, high damage-Health Leech build, using one of the Hollow Halls Weapons that gives Health Leech (once you find a Legendary variant) and you will be a GOD in those Dungeons. Solo is so easy at that point it's laughable. You literally cannot be killed with exception to 1 Boss in the Kindelwaste Dungeon that has a 1-shot attack.
No real shortcuts but some pathing choices are faster than others, for example in the bit with the 2 button door if you go down the rolling ball corridor first you can potenitally skip the other sides combat if you have a decent glider, updraft also helps, to scoot from one side to the other.
I like the swarms but the hollow halls are just too long and after time you already know the next corner will be another swarm and so on... Once you get a routine how to kill them you dotn really need to adopt to new situations as it's always the same setup. Same corridor, same located windows and overhangs... sometimes a few rubble or bones but that's all the changes. You know where to hide, where will you be safe, where to run...etc. I would cut down these parts they getting super tedious. Most of the Hollow halls can split into 2 or 3 dungeons and that would be a more healthy length...

problem is many times you must have to kill all the mobs before the game let you pass the barriers and the mobs usually standing front of the barrier so you can't dig out the wall next to it to pass... also that's almost as tedious than killing the mobs...
I completed the hallowed halls at lvl 7 solo…. It was hard but you definitely don’t need to be high level for it
