I can understand hard combat with bosses, a lot of enemies etc, but making a long path for the glider inside of the dungeon, with so many obstacles on the way and also with camera not always being friendly, was not a great idea and it don't give any joy at all.
Maybe I will go back there one day when this will be changed or shorten, but for now I will stick with something more fun :)
Biggest tip i have for the gliding is dont use the ghost glider. It's extremely fast and not well suited to moving in tight areas. The first one is probably too slow, so pick one of the middle two.
If you insist on using the ghost glider though, remember that you can cancel gliding, quickly re-orient and start gliding again, and to not freak out if you crash, all you need is a quick double jump off the red shroud and start gliding again. You only lose about 2-3 minutes per touch so can do that several times and still succeed.
Can completely understand. These dungeons take time and effort and you can't do them as casually as other areas, especially without a good save system. Give it a few days and consider trying again. It's fine to die a few times to get an idea of where you need to go; in this case, I think you only need to turn in one direction. And if you hit something, if you press the space bar quickly, you'll recover and keep flying - I hit lots of obstacles and was able to make it. Or perhaps with a slower glider like Asmosis suggests to avoid obstacles entirely.
Yeah, that was two hours on my first try without knowing anything, going slow to make sure I didn't miss anything. I also spent time trying to recover my gravestone from dying in the deadly shroud. Maybe I was unlucky, but my grave often ended up being on some hard to reach rock in the middle of the shroud. Agree that it's much quicker on subsequent tries.
I completed the all the Halls on Survival Difficulty and Kindle was brutal. Tons of enemies that hit really hard, but it was fun figuring it out.
@Asmosis Has a really good suggestion in taking the medium grade glider over the ghost glider. Even the longest route is not hard to figure out and you can make some of the drops and corners easier if you purposely stop gliding, drop a bit then start gliding again.
@ec928 I agree on the rewards, but it can be easily fixed by making sure there are some guaranteed epic chests that drop from the overworld loot pool. There is a Halls armor set and a number of weapons that have some extra Halls perks on them so those are nice.
@PaPaKat The loot pool seems to be shared between the Halls, the difference being the level of the loot itself is tied to the lvl region of the Hall. So Kindlewaste Hall has the highest level Spine wand, while your epic wand was capped lower.
That said, there's still a lot of very valuable feedback in here that we'll take a look at, so I appreciate you guys taking the time to write this stuff up <3. If you have more feedback on Kindlewastes please feel free to make a new thread, but given that the original post is 6 months old I don't want any outdated feedback to cause confusion in here.
