Experience scroll pointless?

So i just found one of these in the Hollow Halls (found one or two months ago too)

Are they broken? do they do anything at all? Every time i use one, it doesn't tell me what it has done, no increase to *XP GAINED* bar on the HUD... NO info at all on using it

you get 100xp for each scroll. Yes, it is quick and unless you check the xp before and after at this time you would not be aware of what you got.

If you are already Level 25 keep them for a time when the actual limit is lifted!
