when he plot down the soil, flowers spawn on it
When you say planted, you mean you laid it like a terrain block?
I just went and tested this out including removing a piece of my basement ceiling and replacing it with flower soil but couldn't replicate your problem - so I suggest you take some flower soil and use the number 6 (big square) and try in different places. One thing is it won't show as dirt so if you got rich brown dirt I wonder if you had farm soil available and used that instead. Flower soil can't be dirt, grass or 'furrowed' soil ready to plant stuff in.
Are you maybe thinking of farm soil?
