Deerstalker set, except for the Deadeye Boots and the Soldier Chestplate, as I prefer the bigger health boost of the "light" warrior chest pieces over the smaller stamina boost of the ranged ones.
Matched visually extremely well though.

Same here I had a varied set based on the bonuses applied.

I love being able to mix and match for the specific piece bonuses. Full set bonuses always make me feel locked in and frustrated that there is a specific piece I would prefer to wear, but can't because I'd lose the set bonus.
Now we just need Keen to give us the aesthetic armor set slots, so we can also look the way we want based on personal preference with no effects to stats.

They do have a "Vanity System" on their roadmap.
An alternative system I liked from like Rift (mmo) or Diablo 3 was the wardrobe. As soon as you picked up an item, you unlocked its skin in your wardrobe, where you were able to just select it as your visual representation. The benefit of that is that you don't have to actually keep the literal item stored somewhere, taking up valuable storage slots, and it also kinda gives you some sort of progression system that you can complete. Like, they could show the empty slots, or even a progression bar within the menu.
I think something like that would work very well in Enshrouded with a physical wardrobe item that you could build and place down for your bedroom or whatever.

Edit: They could even add color channels there to give even more customization options.

I've so far managed to find Gloomshroud Chest and Gloves, looking for the full set. Rolling with Eagle helm and I think same pants. Been keeping any warden pieces for the achievement even though its way under my current stats.

Mixing armor pieces is a good thing; I'm using a combination of tank/mage/ranger armor which lets me have a hard hitting but well protected character builds with pretty good stamina regen.

Mage (elder) helmet and gloves for the magic critical and damage boost, paladin tank (paladin) armor for the chest and legs for the protection and minor health regen, and ranger (hawk) boots for a solid +7 stamina regen boost. (Since the patch, I've switched the legs to mage armor for the mana regen just in case)

Works pretty well for a tank/wizard staff build with max intelligence, the best staff magic skills including this is the way/quick charge/wizard/mass destruction, and the best tank skills including tower aura/warden aura/earth aura/thick skin.

For bad or good the games difficulty I think allow a jack of all skill set or mix n match armor.
