Making signs with text

IS that a thing. Like I have a personal game going with 2 other friends, but we only play together on weekends. But since I started game. I have just been working on getting us supplies and such, sometimes I come across some weapons they may want.

My storage is a mess with everything everywhere most of the time, but then I will spend a moring just getting everything, in a box. Weapons in one, food in another.

I would like to be able to put signs above boxes, so when they join, they no where to look for items, and also so they know where to put things like food etc. So I do not have to waste time moving stuff around.

This may be a thing, already I do not know. Still new at this game. But if not that would be great.

I actually discussed this today. We love how that works in 7Days to Die. Either placeable signs above chests or writable chests to label them.

This would be a god send. Honestly, the volume of chests I have have filled up with stuff it gets harder to remember where I put it all!

I'd love it. It would help with organization very much, even for a solo player.

Signs would help, but it's possible that's why the devs made it so when you mouse over a chest, it shows the first three items. If you categorize your items by type, that could clue your buddies in absent a sign. I have chests for rocks and dirt, trees and plants, animals, shroud stuff, raw food, cooked food, etc. I also organize that way whether it's Enshrouded or Valheim, just to keep it simple. Being consistent will help you, but not so much your buds.

Not sure but I think they may have been mentioned in their roadmap - so possibly in the future

Annnnd. On the map, we can place markers, but after a bit I forget what it's marking. Being able to type in just 3 letters would help. Flt for flint, but that seems to be everywhere, so no biggy. But Cpr, Cla, Irn, etc.

Unless, as has happened, I'm missing something.

Valheim had signs done perfectly. Just copy that.

We also were hoping for signs, but best we came up with was just putting whatever was in the chest, first. So for the weapons chest, make sure the first few slots were occupied with weapons so when another player went by the chest they could see what was in the chest (preview bubble) without stopping to open them. Its all we have to work with lol

I think it was craftopia, they didnt have labels for chests but rather you could put a display item on top of the chests
