Adv but easy tips.
So there's been times when i just do the stupid and i'm flying around in my base when someone i put a hole in my base in the most annoying spot that just isn't a simple fix.

In cases like this, don't try to fix it and then pull out the hammer. Once the hammer is in hand open up the build menu and then press "Y" one time. That will undo any accidental action. (I'm not sure how many times it undoes the actions though so hopefully it's only one accidental click.)

The button "Y" for the Undo action is kinda far and unless you are comfortable pressing "Y" for this then i would personally recommend adding an additionally pressed button to the mapping for this button. My personal favorite is Middle Mouse Click for the "Undo" action.

When building with Terrain: So there are a couple pointers i want to throw out there.

The next examples i will give involve the perk "Miner" being taken as well. (imho its time saving.)

Dirt: Place some dirt, use the terrain tool to place a solid square of dirt chunk in the air. Use the rake to extend the dirt all over the place. ~Free dirt!

Use the pickaxe and go ham.

Stone: Do the same thing.

I would HIGHLY EXTREMELY recommend going to a random spot on the map that you find comfy and place an altar. I would highly recommend taking some dirt or something and then pulling out the rake. Once the rake is pulled out, youll notice there is a giant Circle that can be moved and twisted up and down.

The buttons at the bottom right of the screen will tell you how to adjust the Rake.

I use the rake like i would use a giant Push Broom in real life, slowly spreading the new terrain around without holding left click down just going nuts unless you are using it to make things flat.

The recommendation of the rake is to take it, instead of it being completely flat, move it up one slight angle and then hold left click and slowly spin in a circle upwards.

You can use this to build a super awesome magical staircase and get a good example of how to use the rake and the crazy unique features it provides.

If you're standing completely still and you look at the ground while having the Rake tool out and the circle is completely "Up and Down" instead of flat, you will point at the ground, quickly click and then bring your mouse directly up towards the top of the screen.

This is an epic feature used to create Pillars of ANY terrain you want in the game*. (Some are still "ineffective".

Once you learn to use the Rake you'll notice there is a very amazingly k cool blue terrain in the game called "Luminous Growth". You can do the same thing with this, gather a bit and have an endless supply of it. But this Terrain makes for some of the most amazing view shots and scenery I've ever created in a video game like this.

Now that we are Raking in the big Terrain i can now say lets get a little bit more detailed.

By scrolling the mouse wheel up and down while using the rake you can change the position and the motion of it.

You can do this with almost any type of terrain and as you can see, i love Lumen. Those spires are amazing imho.

You can simply pick up the altar, quit the game wait 1 minute and come back and the area will be cleared so you can rinse and repeat these steps until you and the Rake become one like the Matrix.

Ring of Rot:

Low on Shroud Spores and Cores? Not a problem at all.

If you're anything like me, you probably have way more than 50+ of the biggest magical chests you can ever imagine and you need them because thats how it is -.-

There is a place called Ring of Rot that is amazing. It has 3 - 4 big banshee like enemies that drop Shroud Cores. Every Enemy here is level 5.

You can create a altar right by this place and walk right in, swing like 3-5 times and all three to four of them just run at you and that's the easiest collection of Shroud Cores ever.

If you also need Shroud Spores, continue around. There is quite a few peons that drop these as well.

I still need more muahahaha.

Roof Building: We're not building a roof.

With these pieces, you can put some regular wall blocks down on the ground lets say 4 or 5 single ones on top of each other. Then you can use the roof pieces to decorate the sides of it and yada yada right?

Okay so now that we got that, i would recommend building like 500 of each roof type and then just start placing them in weird configurations so you can see yourself all the different things the roof can actually do. The results are amazing.

P.S. i end up using roofing for more of flooring and creating circular objects. As well as lining for the inside of caves that you make.

This is all i really got for now. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
