Stupid question about floor switches.
So I have tried everything I can think of to keep floor switches pushed while I walk through the door. Ultimately I just look for walls I can beat through or hitting the gate for what feels like forever.

So there has to be a trick I just can't figure out. How do you stand on the switch to activate it then go through whatever door it opens. Please help. I just can't figure it out.

Just for clarification. I am talking about the glowy symbol you usually shoot, or press, but when it is on the ground. Even enemies did not seem to trigger them.

My friend, we will need more details lol there is a ton of puzzles in enshrouded.

Can you name the place you're at? Press F12 to gather some screen shots too.

Doing this will help us come to a resolution together!

If it's the one I'm thinking of, you stand on the switch and shoot the symbol inside the door to lock it open.

For some you shoot the switch. Others, you shoot the symbol. They look the same. This is annoying.

does any of the bottom switches work differently?
there's always a target switch right behind the door.

the only one tricky to me was the bramblespine boneyard. there even the open door used to block projectiles. - that dungeon also has the boss room right next to the entrance, so you can dig into the final room with like 3 pickaxe swings from the outside.^^

Does the open door expose a switch you could potentially shoot? I remember one setup like that.

Sorry for the late response. I had tried shooting the symbol on the otherside of the door, but it appears like its hitting and doing damage, or its being blocked by the door. No clue which.

Bramblespine boneyard. For the quest rumble in the catacombs.

Nevermind. I shot it with my bow, nothing new. Shot it with my wand, which was a pain, and it stayed open. lol

Interesting. I had the same behavior and gave up by just bumbling through until I found the crate containing the block material. Don't carry a wand but I guess I'll have to start.

This cost me atleast an hour of stuffing around.. I tried to get a range of mobs to be on the pressure plate while I went through the door.. I couldnt do it even with archer mobs.. I carry a wand, and I tried everything I could think of to creep forward and hit the target inside.. I gave up in the end, went back to buy a bow.. came back and hit it 1st shot..

Note.. that there is just a silver treasure chest inside, you dont even need to clear that to get the quest done...

I am about 95% sure a basic wand can be made in bag for emergencies, if you have like one bone.
