Un-Shrouding?

Hi,
is there a way to "un-shroud" an area? Like that little, just a few meters wide place in the starting area... can you, like, dig deep enough and transport it away, so it's no longer shrouded?

The way the game works you cannot change the world, just your base, at least the devs should allow us to clear the shrouded areas inside our bases.
I think they went the right way with the not permanent changes in the world, it would take forever to register and load every little mining and chopping you did, would be insane. Its not very immersive but i can live with that, i really hope those root trees didnt grow back though, at least let us clear the exilir wells permanently.

Yeah, that starter shrouded Area is now, as i have expanded the base, barely inside the area where i can build, so i thought, hey...
