Where is the matron in Glenwood's End????????

This game gets on every nerve I have. I have cleared the entire village of enemies. I can hear the boss stomping around through the walls. CANNOT get to him. I have been through every building and up and down every set of stairs and through every door and I can't find him. This just isn't fun. Now I have exited the game and will have to clear the whole area again if somebody can tell me where the ♥♥♥♥ to go.

No offense, but that isn't helpful. I just read another Steam post with lots of people saying the matron not showing up is a bug. It also said to go above the jail. That is crap because when I am in the jail level it says I am there. Otherwise it says above or below. I cannot stand the useless map markers in this game. Is this quest even worth completing or mandatory?

She is in that church like building and not in the jail. The marker is indeed not accurate in this case.

I got there too and since i went through the dungeon, with all the cells her health bar showed up and she didnt. So i searched around to no avail, Fishsticks is right, shes in the large building close to the cliff wall. Shes above the jail, thats whats confusing.

Found her in the place you guys said. It makes me so mad that the markers are inaccurate. As I was fighting the Matron, it literally said she was below. I would rather there were no indicators rather than ones that mislead you. This needs to be fixed.

I was lucky - I started at the top and back of the base, and found her quickly. But I was surprised to find her above my location instead of below.

It is the only marker I know of that is not accurate. It will surely be fixed soon.

Is she the one way in the back? above the stairs? Fight her in the courtyard if it is but stay high above and spam her, Stun Arrow works on most bosses or npc's.
