how do you get better outfits for wizard/mage?

I am at level 14. I have the mage outfit that you can craft in the alchemist's menu. There is nothing better to craft? On my last run I found a pair of wizard pants. They had slightly better magic resistance but had a different perk than my +8 mana with my mage pants. Is finding gear in chests the only way to get better gear at this point? It seems pretty mediocre considering I am almost halfway to level 25. I also keep finding wands that are level 3. That is dumb. You should at least get gear that matches your current level.

The ILVL seems to be locked by areas bro.

Starting zone is only lvl 3

Then the forest north-west is about lvl 10

After that it keeps growing as you move to the east-side.

Get the materials, clay, copper, flax etc etc it will unlock recipes. Don't forget to break the jars in the towers as well. they contains items.

The final set in each class is pretty decent. I wish more games would allow us to have an aesthetic set of clothes and the set with the stats. A few games have done this, but really they all should. It can't be that hard to add into the game, and it allows players to craft their own style/look from what already exists in the game. In Enshrouded I play a hunter. I have the level 26 Eagle Eye armor set now. It is cool, nice looking, but it's not what I envision my hunter wearing as he crawls up cliff faces and sneaks through the bushes and dungeons.

Like other games in this genre, new biomes provide more items, thus unlocking new craftings. just continue on. keep exploring. and remember, Mining gives you XP woodcutting and farming do not.
