Flintstone walls/windows always face south
Hey, got a problem while building flintstone walls with windows. the generated "window frames" always face in the same direction. So no matter how I place them, they face to the south. I want them to face outside, but I cant do it. Theyll be inside the house on one side, which sucks.

Using R doesnt do anything, its always the wrong side.

Anyone experienced the same? I also hope you know what I mean, my english isnt the best and I dont know if I got the right terms for the stuff Im talking about lol

Yeah I know, but that doesnt help, its still the same way then.

I've just discovered this. Why make one sided walls if you can't swivel them so that the embellished side is always outside/inside. Not a good idea devs.

Yeah and it still is that way :/ Guess its one of those things that will be sorted out eventually but isnt high on priority list.

Rough Sandstone, Rough Flintstone, Regular Sandstone, and a couple others.

They all have an "outside" face that always faces South or East. You cannot turn them so the "outside" face is North or West.

Those are just the windows. Not sure if the doors are the same or not.

Yea the doorways of the same building types also have this problem. The "outside" face of the wall always points the same direction. South and East.

This has been a problem since the public demo in October last year, rough stone is also acting weird and won't always face the right way, it is especially visible with windows cutouts.

Yes, when it comes to flintstone, the frame/trim is preset with a certain direction.

Honestly, I really dislike the trim/frames in this game. I would rather it be a decorative option, rather then forced. It basically forces you to build a certain way and that basically leads to cookie cutter ways of doing things.

Rough Stone looks to be based on where the wall is placed, rather then what direction it faces. You can place a wall directly in-front of the one with the detail on the frames and it won't actually have them. So when it comes to Rough Stone, you're forced to move the wall one space over to change the detail.

Flint stone does this for sure, the windows look stupid facing inward on one side of the building.

There is one thing you can do to get consistent results. Having the wall two blocks thick actually forces the flintstones trim to be on both sides. Personally, I want the opposite, where something forces the wall to have no trim.
