Suggestion: Allow any type of wood to make coal or for other uses

It would be nice if we could use any type of wood to make coal not just the regular one, same for making bricks.

This would allow people to use the wood they have in their surroundings for these purposes.

Someone who lives in the desert for example should be able to make coal out of palmwood and also use this same wood for making bricks.

+1 also allow altars to be made from different types of stone.

Haha! When I found hardwood, I assumed we would need a lot of it for building, crafting, etc, and now I have loads of it and we never use it. Being able to turn it into charcoal would at least be something. Lol.

Yep same here. I hope they change this. In Valheim for example you can use all kinds of wood to make coal which imo makes sense.

I hope they will introduce buildingblock with it. It's such a pretty woodtype with the red tint.
