But yes, having logs and such go into my inventory, like mining ores... Would be nice. I would still keep the having to pick-up option when destroying objects though.
What comes next is mass production. If I'm making lock picks, or padding, or... then it would be very helpful if I could make stacks of 10 or 100 at once. Bufffood is the same, even if some of them already have stacks of 5, it's still annoying to make tea, for example.
The more you add these mechanics - the more generic and casual it feels when it comes to atmosphere.
All of these little things add atmosphere and interaction with the world.
Yeah but then thas a you problem. If you want something different but buy something else you can hardly complain. Im also not guing to buy a Fifa game and demand that it becomes a manager game.
Im pretty sure this game will either get a mod or official creative mode soon enough - which is fine - but trying to change the game into something else for everyone is annoying since there are so many casual games already - and is already rather casual.
Some automation can be good. Not all automation is good though. I certainly don't escape the real world to dive into a fantasy world, just to sit around and do chores all day. Some type of balance needs to exist so people don't feel like they work... All the time...
Sorry. Was editing. i don't like the edit button on my posts. OCD here.
When you say, "that's a YOU problem" you are basically insulting that person. Also, MODS are basically cheating... Some people don't feel value in accomplishments when they're able to cheat.
The fact that you call mods cheating makes everything you Said invalid fir me.
Like, reshade is cheating? More character customisation is cheating? To call a few very popular mods for all Sort of Games.
And i don't even want to start about the topic, that this is not an competetive Game where cheating means Something. Calling other people cheaters because they don't Play the way you want ... Speaking of insulting.
But definitly +1 for the Auto Loot
Telling people that when they buy a product but actually are looking for something else - like you explained a creative build game - that it is not a problem of a game but a problem with what they want compared to what they bought is insulting? Seriously?
So you now called mods cheating - does that mean you insulted modders and people who use mods? And what do you argue for now - easy to build mechanics or creative building? Or is this just about making hte game easier to build while still feeling good because its the official game - i dont get it. I also honestly dont care if someone invested 200 hours to mindlessly grind to build a huge castle or if someone cheated the ressources.
Also from my point of view there is no real cheating in SP and Coop games as long as you play SP or Coop with people that agree. I mean who are you cheating? Yourself? I played skyrim with hundreds of mods - does that make me a cheater ...
But it has a clear concept and feedpack mostly means to at least stay within that general concept.
And as i said - whats your problem with the creative mode that will either come officially or via mods?
Also getting ressources gets faster with skills and better tools - and chances are there will be difficulty settings.
It takes a few minutes for some people to get bored when they can turn on god mode. When the option is there, it;s like all your work has less value. Because that's where value comes from. The ability to lose something or how hard that thing is to achieve.
His phrasing "Some people don't feel value" is also Just a nice way of saying, you freaking noob.
Also thing wchich i mentioned action key bound for gathering and using hook...
