Is Queen's Tomb supposed to be this simple/easy?
Spoilers for the Queen's Tomb quest.

I find some parts of this game's design very confusing. To complete the Queen's Tomb, we literally just bounded up the mountain, and dropped in through the roof into the tomb, took the item, and teleported out. This felt very cheap and weird? I know the game is very open-ended but it wasn't particularly compelling...

Did anyone else have an experience like this? I feel like while it's fun to solve some problems with dropping in, climbing, or breaking holes in things, the lack of hard limits makes it very easy to cheese your way to very high level gear or finishing quests without really doing the dungeon or being required to engage with most of the "intended" content.

You could say "Don't do it" but ... we didn't initially mean to (didn't know where the entrance was) and nothing stopped us from doing it, so... I dunno, it just felt like I had cheated and really didn't feel rewarding at all. Just surprised (or confused) that the game doesn't put many hard stops in to keep us from hitting way above our level.

The Sun temple with the best glider is the same. I just glide past all the enemies quickly do the puzzles and enter effortlessly. The opposition inside is few and low level, easy to dispose with, and grab the prize. Seen others do similar with other sun temples.

Always depends on what you find rewarding in a game. There are many known short cuts and in some cases complete exploits in this game and in the current absence of console developer or creative mode I certainly can't judge anyone for taking advantage of them. That being said, there are opportunities to accumulate XP by going in through the front door although they may not seem like much. But if you are just getting started, XP leads to leveling leads to skill points and those are quite valuable especially in early game.

The fact that you didn't find the entrance, which is super obvious, but the exploit for wish you have to make These annoying jumps Up a mountain and all, is either a lie or super funny.

I think this is great - you can paly and do the game however you want. If you want to cheese something by skipping content and finding an easy way in - why not if its fun to you.

You can do that in pretty much any game if you want to but its mostly a bit easier in open world games.

If you dislike that you probably shouldnt do it but i think it would harm the game more than it helps to try to force the player to do things only in one intended way. (i might would try to get in in a cheese way since its fun to look for that - but i would probably still do the normal version - so its actually just more content and only less if you cheese and dont like it - but thats something you can stop yourself)

I really hope they also add some sort of portal mechanic and some portals arround the world for players later on to add user-created dungeons/mazes etc. easily into the game. Could make the game even more fun if there were some gates to a list of random dungeons you could add with mods and that were picked by rng.

That would probably also help the DEVs - the game is great and the map is huge - but i seriously do wonder if they have enough manpower to create enough unique content for the complete map as a small DEV - especially since even AAA DEVs fail at that.

Shrug. I mean it wasn't hard to get up there on the roof of the place, there's a ton of sloped pathways you can just walk up. We approached from the west (or northwest or something like that.)
