Skill Points

I noticed you get skill points each time you kill a shroud, the odd thing is, everywhere i read you get 1 extra skill point, but i did one earlier and it gave me 5, i have been max level 25 for ages and been hunting the elixir well/shrouds for extra skill points, i had 4 skill points in the bag and was doing a shroud to get the extra skill point to take me to 5 so i could spend the 5 needed points on the skill i wanted, i did the shroud, teleported back to base to dump mats and repair, went to skill page and it showed me as having 9 skill points to spend?

I'm also sure i did another one the other day that gave me 3 skill points upon completion?

anyone else had anything other than 1 skill point? and apart from levelling is that the only way to earn extra skill points? everything i see online states it is so.

right now I am at level 25 and and for some reason not getting any skill points been killing level 23,24 skill level and not getting any points

there is currently 114 skillpoints total. this is all roots + level 25. reset your skills and see how many total you have.

Yeah that wasn't really my concern, i was wondering if anyone else had got anything other than 1 skill point for killing a shroud root?

Like i said i got 5 from 1, and 3 from another a few days ago, usually it has been just 1.

In Kindlewaste I've gotten 1 point for a simple shroud root and 3 for one in an Elixer Well. Note: those Elixer Wells that get freed when you get the last flame altar upgrade are well guarded...

It's as you said, 1 point for roots and 3 for wells, I though it was in the description... Anyway, Reggie probably had 1 point already when he entered a well and got 3 points from the well and another point from level up fighting the monsters inside.

I am lvl 25 and two points shy of getting updraft, don't want to reset as my build is complicated but great. Can't find another two points anywhere. Frustrating. Be good if there was a way to get more, like defeating a super boss or something. I am at the point where there is nothing to play for until the next big game update, ie extra regions etc.

Yeah see thats where the random part seems to come in, the shroud i took out last was at an elixir well marked location and i got 1 point for it, i did a similar marked one earlier and i went from having 4 points spare to having 9
