Water Building Blocks
Possibly a water block for building. One for still water and one for directional flowing water. XYZ Axis. Rotate the flowing textured block as you would any other. Not really a game changer, but it would look cool for homestead features. Waterfalls, lakes and rivers for bridges. Even an indoor fountain. Maybe incorporate the existing well water gathering. Every 15 water makes 10 water blocks or something. Even if the water doesn't have physics, could just add water sounds when moving through it. As I can see, nowhere in the world has water, so this would require a swimming animation with coding. It could be removed like any wall, ceiling or floor. Highlight and right click to remove.

I would like this a lot.

adding to this, We need Lava and Shroud building blocks too! I know we are supposed to be cleansing the world of the shroud, buuut I have builds that would look really cool if I could just have some shroud in them

All the 'lava' in the game is infected water, not lava. In that brief, glorious time we could remove the Shroud and actually see the game, you could see all the lakes and waterfalls and obvious 'flow' from the upper edge of the map to the lower. Right now there are no water mechanics though, so you just stand on the water/lava til you die. But if the game lets you remove the Shroud someday (ostensibly the whole point of the game), the lava will turn back to water.

Theres lava too, you can see it in some of the towers you climb, and even in the highlands on the wookies base up north, the shroud is red and black, and its actually the contaminated water, a lot of it in the capital harbor. Lava has some yellow in it.

Actually, that red shroud water/lava doesn't actually kill you. It drains your shroud time and flickers at 2 seconds. Clear the very first elixir well, and remove that shroud root for the area to be clear of shroud, and step on it. It's actually not as terrifying as everyone thinks lol.

Had to laugh - my friend + I also call them wookies

If in doubt whether something's lawa or shroud water - step on it. If it kills you almost instantly, it's shroud water. if it takes a little longer, it's lava. ;)

I see what you all are talking about now that I'm clearing out the shroud roots. I took a long break from quests to build. The shroud water is more red. Found some near docks as mentioned above. It has that white / gray vein look to it. The lava is more orange-yellow in color.

Yeah, some pools and ponds would be cool. I'd also +1 the lava because that could also be used to imitate like a coal bed or something for my fireplace (no idea what they're called) in the middle of my A-frame.

False. The red stuff is not lava but some sort of fungi grown over all the places where water was.

Not as terrifying? It's literally the only thing that at the end was still able to kill me. Especially annoying when it is right below the ground in some places, triggering the effect without you being able to even see it. And in most other spots it is at steep hills where you can just "slide" into it without being able to jump out again in time - since you just don't have that once you touch it, even just briefly. It pretty much immediately drains your shroud meter to 0.
