Why can't I smelt bronze?

I have all the equipment (smelter, Charcoal Kiln) I can even smelt glass! So what am I missing with my setup that's preventing me from smelting bronze? Thanks in advance for any help!

You need to smelt copper. Then you smelt tin and after that you can set it to combine copper and tin to bronze.

Thanks! I have tin bars from looting so never smelted the tin. So off to find tin. thanks again for a quick reply!

You´re welcome. Little tip: You won´t find it in the starting area or anywhere around it. Search more towards the east.
