Dont take stamina off, i played a mage and it was the only thing keeping me on my toes, since it was low and if i ran out i was in deep trouble. Its just annoying when you are mining, but even that can be countered by mining near your flame altar and reespecting into a gatherer build, its so cheat to reespect.
careful op might think you are serious and on their side. sarcasm might be too challenging for them.
Even the souls games have adopted that mechanic.
Put points in endurance then!
I can run and fly for days without running out, just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean everyone else has a problem. If your playstyle isn't working, maybe you need to change?
souls has no tools to change geography or change existing path/layout.
not to mention it would make farming even easier lowering difficulty further...
besides part of reason u need stamina limit outside of combat is also so u cant sprint through fog but gotta think of it as a danger...
Already possible so not even an issue. With the boots that have the -700 stamina delay thing, you literally regen stamina faster than you can spend it from using the pickaxe.
Having to spend hours earning limited points to make something so central to core gameplay not an absolute chore does not seem like a playstyle issue.
I'd counter that being forced to spend points you would prefer to use on something fun to counter the artificial drag the stamina system has on travelling is a bigger problem.
"I was a marathon runner before being reborn"
Sure.
You can respec your points at anytime and as often as you want by spending 10 Runes..
And going through that spiderweb to level up every time you need to travel any distance is fun how?
That's much the same as having 2 sets of armour on you in other games, one for travelling and one for when you get there. Except here you would have to set up a new base when you get there and spend more time cherry picking skills.
If that's the intent then its bad design rather than bad balance.
You're making a mountain out of a mole hill
10 Runes to respec at any point. All you do is click on the skill you want (not hard), and you can plop down a shrine pretty much anywhere.
Or, even better, use food to buff your attributes, just like many other games.
Stop being so dramatic
So i wouldn't count on it going away at all, and with the gliders, fast travel points, and being able to place an altar anywhere for 5 stone (i carry one with me all the time), honestly traversing is not even a huge issue.
A game like Valheim - yea it's "bad" traversing takes ages - but it hinges on the concept of relaxed exploration instead of fast travel simulation, at least that's the intention of the devs.
But Enshrouded really hasn't felt like you need to walk for that long. Just take your time and enjoy the views. The fetch quests would get even more boring if you can get there in seconds
Valheim had actual exploration that you could enjoy being both procedural and having things to find plus options for doing the travelling like sailing, Enshrouded has a fixed map with large empty spaces between POI's and "go to x" missions back to back.
Never! Next you will want us to pay to repair our gear.
-climb up ladders forever with no stamina loss
-climb up a metal climbing wall with plenty of grips? Uses more stamina than gliding, jumping, or fighting.
I would like to see an option to remove stamina, or modify it to where it makes more sense.
