Regardless of the masses who out right "hate" the idea that'll ruin their precious game.
Mod for the blueprints in Valheim - Plan Build - at Thunderstore
If this game gets modding tools we can look forward to all kinds of world customisation,
this is actually a great idea. I like the idea of taking a cool ruined structure and restoring it. There are some good spots to do so as well.
You should put in a feature request: https://enshrouded.featureupvote.com/
I thought about that too - but in the end its an awful idea - building is a big part of the game - by allowing that you would just make a big part of the game pointless.
But i would be for some more options to build to make it easier - for example more forms - maybe even custom forms or beeing able to copy paste a recently created part with max xy parts etc.
I wonder how long it would take if they add this until people complain about not enough content. And as someone already said its possible to take over already existing buildings.
I would love this feature. I want to go crazy and built a fancy base with lots of detail, but that requires many hours. I want a way to save my creation and built it again in a new game. Then add to it and save it again as a new blueprint.
I don't think this ruins the game at all. You still need the resources to built it, so as you walk close to a part that's not yet built after placing the blueprint, it will take resources from your inventory and fill it in.
Most importantly let people play how they want.
Many people don't have tons of time to build the best buildings only to have to do it again when starting a new game etc.
If you don't like blueprints, don't use them, for the rest of us, we really would love them.
This is not an MMO.
Please add blueprints.
