If I am sneaking around a battle field, I should be able to sneak attack things that are aggroed on my teammates. A short term invisibility that uses mana would be good for this.
The entire tree is poorly designed and needs work. Its probably the lowest development they spent time on and/or simply lacked the ability and talent to do so. Most of "choices are +1 to XYZ stat, which is a universal sign to being incredibly lazy.
But I hope they give this a proper one over some day and get a proper system going. Double so for the "assassin" tree so here is a heavy agreement on that one. I don't even know why crouch is in the game, steal is pointless currently by design.
Stealth mode.
this doesn't work in the middle of a melee, and in fact only rewards solo play. They need the assassin to be applicable for the party group play. Sneak attacking a distracted enemy would be great but does not work in the current game.
It would seem if the enemy is aggroed on anything then you cant sneak attack it.
Invisibility skill and a smokebomb AOE stun/stealth reset at the very least.
Maybe a poison skill the weakens enemies or makes them slower or something so they have some group utility.
