Loom for the Hunter Quest help please
Hi guys, I don't seem to have that quest. I've completed the previous quests for the Hunter but now it seems that the quest line is dead, with no indication at all about what to do next, let alone find the loom. Is this a bug or is there a specific trigger for this quest ? Cheers,

some quests only show up after your flame level has been upgraded enough or a certain other npc quest was completed.

Check quest log if you have it. When I accepted that quest it didnt show up on the map, but I still found the loom where the journal said to find it

Yeah, that quest for some reason doesn't have an indicator. There is a town called East Lapis fair distance North-East from the Kindlewastes ancient spire, the loom is found in an underground mine/cavern in that town. You can get a quest "Underground Infestation" from a building (kind of busted up tower thing) at the first plaza/square in the town that also guides you to the caverns, but afaik it's not mandatory, you can just go in the cavern and progress until you find the loom.

Thanks a lot, that's very useful. Still, it's weird that there's no progression quest available for the Hunter at all in my journal. When I find the loom, I hope it still works.

No worries! Yup, I think this is the only quest that had NO marker what-so-ever for me. Others at least indicate general area etc, so I imagine this is probably either a bug or oversight. Had to look up a guide for it myself because the journal was less than helpful. Could be that the quest giver mentioned the town location during the dialog when you get the quest, but my memory is appropriately sieve-like for my advanced age..

But that's the thing. I never even got that quest, let alone a quest marker. I don't even see the quest anywhere. I'll have to find the loom blind, somehow stumble upon it...

Ah, right, serves me right for speedreading stuff :D

I wonder if it's because you haven't completed some other npc's / main quest that's somehow pre-requisite for this one, or something, or haven't upgraded the flame enough etc. Sometimes I swear quests just popped up on a different npc when I completed another one's quest. I have no idea what the exact trigger could be tho, and it's not at all impossible it's a bug that the quest isn't showing up. But if you have other crafting related quests active, you could try completing those to see if the loom one suddenly shows up.

Edit: And yeah, Nerevar beat me to the punch with their post rather more succinctly saying what my rambling was struggling to.

Ah, finally got it. It seems that there is a sequence. The Hunter gave me her quest only after I had completed a quest that I had current for the Alchemist. Sorry for all my silly questions. Seems I was too much in a rush!

Any idea what Alchemist quest it was? I have no quests atm from alchemist, flame level is maxed, but still no Loom Quest :(

The loom quest is bugged, its in East Lapis in the basement of the weavers building near the back right after the broken bridge.
Coop Jun 18, 2024 @ 6:21pm
I've seen people say the marker is bugged. Am I able to get the loom without the quest for it? I've tried looking in that area in East Lapis to no avail.

Edit: Found it, guess no quest needed. Thanks for the help
