BTW, solid 130 fps, no drops in frames, smooth sailing on max settings on my 84" panel. Is this the part where one of you screams that I did not read anything with a line of insults? Don't care, this thread completely lost all seriousness by the 14th posts in.
Zero nerd cred with the specs and metrics you missed mentioning.
Solid enthusiast operation tho. Thumbs up.
Did this guy seriously get TWO jesters just for pointing out that he has no stutter...?
You're not getting 130 fps.
I don't understand so please can you explain? Is it possible to get >60fps in Enshrouded?
thats what i mean !!! ^^ i will dev fix this damm engine problem XXXXX
As you mention your spec in such detail does the game utilize all 16 cores and the 96GB of RAM, etc.?
How does your particular hardware setup make a difference beyond the officially suggested spec??
It is stable on 37-40% vram usage and 19% ram right now. Game has been running 10 hours straight and there is no FPS drop or stutter yet as i write this and continue playing. it remains on 80 fps on the FPS counter right now.
This game seems a bit memory intensive and it is always nice to have a bit extra installed.
I am just going to continue playing it, i don't have a magical solution for people stuttering sorry.
Tell me, did you even read my title?
This is not about performance problems caused by hardware, but about engine stutters that occur randomly if you have a monitor that has more than 60 hz natively and you then limit it to 60 fps or it doesn't work properly!!!
I also have consistently stable fps and a clean frame time.
Apparently the engine seems to have a problem with soft cap limit.
Then you have to press ALt + Enter.
Therefore your comment here is absolutely unnecessary and in no way helpful because it has nothing to do with my topic!
It's not just an FPS lock at 60 fps, the problem is much worse.
If you have a monitor that has a native 60hz, e.g. 144 and Gsync etc., the game stutters all the time and feels like 60 fps even though it has significantly more.
If you limit the game to 60 FPs, the client will run smoothly for a certain amount of time.
But then the frame rate keeps jerking every few minutes even though the frame rate and frame time seem to be stable according to Afterbruner.
Therefore you have to constantly press ALT + ENTEr twice to switch from Borderless window mode to Window mode and back, which fixes the problem for a while but only temporarily!!!
If the jerking occurs, it returns to normal on its own, which can take up to 10 seconds and is therefore extremely annoying.
Therefore it is absolutely inedible at the moment -.-
But apparently the developers seem to care more about making more money and releasing soundtracks or making questline changes instead of solving this gamebreaking problem as quickly as possible.
This is clearly an engine problem!!!!
My system: Ryzen 7950x3d / Msi 4080 Suprem / 32 Gb Corsair Dominator ..
It is your problem and not mine.
Then why u are Here 🤦🥴 ?!
