Cant build beehive after the quest.

Just finished quest for emily and cant build beehive despite having this bee smoker item in my inventory it just shows me that i have none despite having one or even crafting additional ones.

The beehive smoker is a "workbench", not an ingredient for crafting the beehive. You need to place it somewhere, then you can craft a beehive at the farmer.

What they said ^ Good news is once you do you can make all kinds of beehives, not just one!

Thank you. Thought it is ingredient. Some things are part of work bench to craft and sometimes it is solo placement. Just went with the logic that his is part of a whole.

Most of the NPC's have you retrieve an item that simply functions as a workbench/ decoration, placing them down unlocks more stuff for crafting etc. If I remember correctly, the alchemist is the only NPC where an item you retrieve acts as both a workbench/ decoration but also a crafting material to make a different workbench. However you will get a recipe to craft that item for decoration purposes.
