Performance issues ?

Anyone else ? Game feels kinda weird and laggy although i have latest drive and gtx 1050,
graphics o nmedium still lags.

Update:
played it now on my Pc with a geforce 3070
32 Gb Ram /Amd Ryzen 5 5600X 2 TB Ssd aaaand it still runs like ♥♥♥♥ , but keep in mind i play on a Server with 3 people........

I have a 3070 ti and often get into the 40s sometimes 30s. The game is known to have optimization issues unfortunately.

Also. Not sure how much vram you have but the game recommends 8gb. Could play a factor.

lucky to try demo -> can't play because feeld like 20fps even if its shows 300, maybe they will fix in release.
bought game -> same as before :(

the game seems to be great on it's features but I'am getting headache after 5 minutes because of camera movement. maybe will try again if it manages to get stable.

Minimum requirement is GTX 1060 (6gb version). You don't meet the minimums so be happy it even starts.
Player fault not the game or defs, learn to read and understand system requirements before buying stuff.

my fps are consistently 100-165 but the game especially camera feel laggy af. Like 45 fps. Idk what they're doing wrong but idc I refunded it. I'll check back in a year.

yeah this game requires people to travel to the future to grab the latest hardware and then back in time

I just refunded. One of the worst optimized games I've seen, even worse than memory leaking Diablo 4 on release.

your name is kinda misleading my man , and i do believe that the game is indeed poorly optimized and minimum 1060 is insane for a game like this.

It get's a bit laggy when I have been playing for hours and did a lot of landscaping and destruction of points of interest.
Everything normal after a server reset though (I play local only, so that is every time I close the program).
I don't even want to know how performance is on co-op servers. several players landscaping/destroying would be a big performance hit after a while.

(Ryzen 5600X + RX6600 + 64GB 3.6GHz DDR4, winblows 10, M.2 drive : 60fps average (AMD driver app) with v-synch on)

trydisable v-syn, set resolution at 70-80%, set Anti-Aliasing to FCR2 and quality, and disable shadows... i have a 1050ti and it runs around 45 fps

lossless scaling frame gen. try that. it works well in any games.

As far as I know Enshrouded ALLWAYS trys to alocate 8 GB VRAM with 6 GB VRAM as minimum requierment.

NVidia homepage specs for GTX1050 are 2 GB VRAM. If this is true it would be in any form by far not enough. Nothing you can do except buiing a new GPU. Sorry.

The developers made the desission to work with 6gb vram. For one or the othe other reason. And that's fine. They optimized their game for this amount of VRAM.

It's like car companies deside if they use Diesel, Benzin, Gas or Electric engines ... and you have to use the right fuel or the engine will break. The engine is very likely perfectly optimized today but ONLY for the right fuel :).

If the right fuel is not avilable in your region it is not the fault of the manufacturer.
Read specs before you buy.

And for real. All GTX 50's had been terrible products since I know NVidia. Jumped from a 460ti (1gb 2010) to a 970 (3,5+5gb 2014) to a Intel Arc770 LE (16gb 2023).
GTX 1050 is from either 2016 (2gb version) or 2018 (3gb version) while the 1050 TI launched too 2016 but with 4GB vram for just a tiny bit more money.

If at all you can say: "the 50 series GPUs from NVidia are terrible opimized" or "scam" :D.
NVidia knows the specs aren't good enough for Gaming but only some Office work. But they still brand it and marketing them as "gaming" products.

I understand that these words don't sound nice to you but it does not change anything about the truth they tell. It does not make me a bad person just because I tell you this unpleasant truth either. You most likely won't love the next truth I'm about to unveal to you. Besides being 8 years old, which makes it an historic artifact when it comes to modern gaming, the GTX 1050 was already bad when it was brand new. It was the cheapest beginners graphics card for the 1000 series. Well better than onboard graphics but still the lower end of the line.
As a game developer with a modern open world game in EA I would feel highly offended if someone with ancient hardware, which was already low end when it was new, would accuse me to have done bad work because my modern game will not run on low end historic hardware.

A friend told me the game is locked to 60fps atm and they working to change that. So if your getting 170 frames and feels like 60, that is likely why. Also known rumor is too many plants in a farm (at your base) is causing so people to have memory dump crashes. This is a "new" EA game so thinking its going be optimized is silly. In saying that i'm playing on a 4070ti and i have not seen a spec of lag, just a bit of frame drop here and there, as nearly all EA games do. Optimized part comes after base content, my guess is its going be like this for a bit.
