Enshrouded update
"Fixed a bug where players could seamlessly chain long sprint jumps and therefore traverse the map faster than intended. Now it is required to take a short run-up for every long sprint jump."


Add this back holy hell. We don't even have mounts or any way to traverse faster.

I got around the map without even upgrading my flame. There are paths you can get around the deadly shroud to unlock the entire map and this doesn't even require building. You just can't enter the deadly shroud, that's all.

But having the option to build a magical floating island is super cool. At maximum size you have this really cool fantasy looking island in the sky. You still have stamina to deal with when gliding away from your tower, but the height advantage is still good.

does anyone know how to fix the map being like 3 fps. I have an rtx 3060 and 16 gb of ram. I should be able to zoom out in the map without the game running at like 3 fps and not being smooth

Removing exploits is part of EA.

If you want to travel far distances, invest in the proper skills.

Not a big issue.

This is clearly not an exploit, its a feature that yet again has been taken away from us.

I mean, I played Lineage 2 for the first five years it was out. Doesn't mean I advocate or defend grinding for levels. Things should improve over time.

This is exactly it. It was a fun feature, not a bug or anything like that. I mean if this was a competitive shooter, which its not, I would understand. But this clearly is a control the players from discovering places too fast so our game world does not seem small thing from the devs.

Its not many places you actually have to run, you can glide 90% of the map. If you are really lazy, then build alters on high tops, you can build 8 in total as of now. SCatter them strategic around the map. Problem solved. (not to mention the spires in all regions)


Um, what about in the actual fog stuff, when the timer is running down, now we cant get out fast enough.

Skill issue. You're supposed to plan for that - that's why the timer is there.

A : You can place a flame, build up with stairs, place another flame up there, remove 1st one - repeat to go as high as you want on any flat surface, as long as you can place at least 2 altars.
B : if you have updraft skill, you can cancel flight with right mouse, pop glider and use updraft again, as many times as you want. (keep an eye on yer stamina though)
C : what they wanted to patch out, still works on an angle.

So nothing has changed really.

No, not really. Its not a skill issue when it took skill to speed hop around in the first place, then was taken away though a "patch".

Nice try though, echo chambers are great for singing.
