The other part I'd like adjusted is the time it takes to mine things. Gathering a decent amount of ore can take quite a while. Stamina usage already slows this down, but it often takes several hits to get a single piece of ore in return. This means it can take a long time to mine enough for crafting and base building.
That said, yes, a config file is very much needed. Though I get that this is a custom engine and that they need to build all of those hooks in: it's not particularly hard to do so.
Also bones are INCREDIBLY common. I have chests stuffed full of them. There are thousands of skeletons all over the map. Smashy smashy, picky picky. And the skeletons respawn when areas reset. It's literally an neverending resource.
For you. But... easy solution - dont use it.
For me it ruins the game slow and steady to keep hitting miasma stuff for hours to get stuff or wait 2h to smelt all ore or teleport back 10 times to repair my tools while mining copper at the speed of an 200year old turtle.
The Game feels nice, I love exploring and I think the building system is maybe the best we have in this kind of games. But the crafting and farming rates are absurd. Might be fine with 6+ people but Solo?
I played Ark for hundreds of hours Solo and I love that I can adjust the rates of farming, hatching and stuff. It is stupid to wait for 8h to hatch a Dino for single player's, but I understand why it is needed to balance it for PvP. But Enshrouded Solo is not PvP.
And as said - if you dont want to adjust the rates, dont adjust them. While I like to adjust them, so let me do it. Same goes for cheatcodes... if there are some in a Game, dont use them. Easy as that. Its Single Player... no one get hurts if someone cheats in Single Player, besides from the player that does it and it might ruin the game for this one player. But than - start over and dont cheat again... its so easy.
It's almost like palworld is smart and knows not everyone enjoys playing games the same way and some are willing to waste more time than others are.
Its easier to develop and listen to feedback if the game is not split into many custom setting variations.
