Annoying screech from orange birds in Kindlewastes. Plz fix
Is anyone else besides me fed up with the constant screech from the orange birds in Kindlewastes? I do not even know what these birds are called because the game does not give you a name when you attack/target enemies in game. I was hoping today patch would fix it because it is such a big ear bleeding problem.

The problem with these birds is that they screech too often. While idling around, each one can screech every 5 seconds or so. With a few around you, your ears are bombarded non-stop with their cream. While in combat with just one, it screeches once every 2 seconds. When a bird is stuck in a rock near your base, above or below, you can hear it screeches constantly non-stop every 2 seconds until you find it and kill it.

My main base is in the Kindlewastes. Half of the time after I logged in, there is a bird stuck inside the cave system under my house. It tries to get to me but couldn't, so I get bombarded with the annoying screech every 2 seconds while I stay in my house.

I am considering capturing this screeching sound effect and put it on my phone as my wake-up alarm clock sound.

This is a bug the bird nests are spawning underground and the endless screech is because they are stuck.

Personally I enjoy fighting the orange chickens.. and the blue chickens.. and the parrot chickens.. the scream you get when the witches die is scary at first but later on, I love hearing it.. makes me grin.

I love the desert birds. FINALLY, a creature that can drop eggs that does NOT run away. Yes, pleaseeeee, attack me. I want eggs for +int food. In the nomad hills, I've started using a staff to nuke the turkeys since I'm so tired of chasing them.

Plus, I kind of like the constant screeching. Means you need to be on your toes, and keep your head on a swivel, or one will fly up behind you and nail you.

They sure do, and give me flashbacks to more innocent days of yore, of being chased by a cloud of cliff racers.. The horror!

*insert cliffracer ptsd but reduce annoyingness level by 5*

They are more akin to Drakes than birds IMHO but I do agree with you. Their screeching is the worst and sometimes it sounds like its coming from one of them buried in the ground. Try as I might, I cannot seem to find them buried down there, despite being on top of the sound itself.

We've tried digging to the sound just to make it stop but couldn't find whatever was making it. It's horrible.

I agree. Tone down the screeching.
