Any way to remove lore notes?

I often find houses that are located in spots where I'd love to build a base, but then I find a note or a book or something in there that cannot be removed as far as I know, which means It will inevitably get in the way when/if I decide to build a base there. Is there any way at all to remove these things?

I think if you put a Flame Altar down, you can then "dismantle" them. Gives some old books usually. Works for loot chests too.
