Quest help: On fertile ground: Find the farmer's ring

I’ve been stuck on this one quest for the farmer after you give her strawberries, she gives you the quest on fertile ground, find the farmer's ring. I’ve been to the location marker on the map and looked about and see no ring or chest or anything. The objective just says she lost the ring traveling from her childhood home to brittlebush. I’ve walked back and forth and don’t see it. I tried digging up the whole quest area and still don’t see it. Where is the farmers ring?

at the quest marker, there's a little caravan with some explosive barrels. Shoot those barrels, and it opens up the ground underneith, which has a chest with the ring inside :-)

Thanks, I'll give that a try again, but I never saw it, maybe it's bugging out

I did this. Found the chest. No ring. Got some wooden arrows and some other random item. On the bright side, there is a lot of iron in the ground. Came away with a couple hundred ore from tearing up the ground looking for the chest.

For any coming here for a solution, triggering the explosive barrels destroys the chest you're supposed to loot the ring from. If you're solo, just log out and back in, then fly back.

Too bad the ring is junk, yet somehow is purple quality?? Its effectively 10% durability increase to your felling axe...Like i need to spend even more time chopping trees.

They should change it to 50% increased loot from felled trees. That would be worth wearing because it would save time grinding wood and let me get back to playing quicker.

I started out digging around in the piles of sand and found the chest underneath the ground. I must have hit the chest with my mining pick as it immediately disappeared. Had to restart the server to get it to respawn. I thought the chest had disappeared.
