You unlock magic chests which allows remote access for everything but the little resource stations you unlock. Those still need to be manually loaded but they are queue based so you can stuff a couple of stacks of something hit the item you want then go do stuff when you come back you will have stacks of what ever that was
I just find it time consuming that I have to go to all my storage box to see if I have the materials I need to craft what I need. By that time, I forget what materials I needed. I have to constantly go back and forth to the workstation to see what I need.
Also when actually building building you need the block in your inventory.
True but OP was talking about remembering mats needed for crafting.
I assumed he does not go to build a house and cant remember he needs some bricks for that.
Also: as long as you don't have them yet: you can pin every receipt. You don't have to memorize the mats. (sadly, only one reciept at time is possible. perhaps, because there are receipts out there, which need a lot of defferent mats.)
But why the building blocks need to be in your inventory is a riddle to me...
And if the automatic crafting stations would have a counter and "start"-button even they wouldn't need to have the matieriels in them...
