No one knows. You have to guide yourself approx with the distance to the early game location and with the different biomes (if you cross a biome, surely you will have tougher enemies) This is not very precise, also, because you can find different levels of enemies at each biome while crafting higher level armor only comes once all the crafter NPCs give you their quests and only once per biome so it's usual to be almost always underleveled as you advance in the game.

Quest level radiates outward from the starting location. The farther it is from the original plains location, the higher level the enemies are. It's not exact, but it's a decent rule. Enemy level increases in new biomes the deeper into the biome you go in relation to the starting location.

It's not that complicated. Farther you go from home, the harder it gets.

A level or two under your enemies is usually survivable if you're keeping level-appropriate gear, skill dumping, and making sure you're not getting swarmed.

there is no lvl lock on items if you join a public server with travel unlocked you can farm good gear then head back to private server. Its a cheese move but what ever works for you.

I'm usually 2-3 levels under new enemies and lately, even 4-5. All are manageable if you kite them one by one, or if enemies have slow animations, then even a small group. Some are deadly, though lol watch out for green warriors with dual swords!

Imo, the lack of some minimal guidance or order on the quests provokes this situations when you are trying to unlock something new or are searching for new resources, as you can pick up a quest that it's not too far from where you are but then you encounter higher level enemies all the way. Having the glider is also dangerous as you can land in a pretty high level zone or even a deadly red zone :S

just look at the XP rewards for finishing a quest, the one with less amount should be the easier ones. At least that is how i did it without problems

Of course, but all the quests are organized in tiers and each tier gives the same XP no matter the quest. For what i have seen it seems to be as many tiers as biomes (5?) so at the end that's a small tip ofc as others but not very useful once you level up a bit and start being between 2 biomes or have progress enough so all the pending quests give you the same amount of XP even with enemies of different levels i suppose up to 5 levels above you approx (25 level cap, 5 biomes/quest tiers)

And what is the point of such gameplay?

I made the farmer girly with level 5 and then I tryed to clear the elixier thats not that far away like the farmer.
No Chance, everything was Level 9. lol

Thats frustrating. I hope they do an update where we can see with level is required for the quests.

Thats the only thing I want, I love the Game.

One thing WoW did well was color code your quests by level. If you got a quest at low level and waited to do the quest, it would change color as you got stronger. What was once red or orange (very hard) became yellow, then green, and finally grey as you became OP for the quest. Biomes were also much clearer as per their level range.

I agree with OP that this could use a little polish.

True, i forgot about that, i don't play WoW since years. And it's a very good solution, indeed, as it allows for a range of levels instead of needing a specific and exact level to do each quest. And that's also how this game works, with tiers and range of levels inside each biome and between them.
