Problem with a particular enemy
In some bandit camps and caves I'm encountering these berserker type enemies with green tinged cleavers. In short: they feel over-tuned. Once I enter their attack range they can attack faster than I can sprint away. If I parry them I still take full damage from the attack and get staggered, so by the time I'm recovered they are as well. On top of that they don't take stun damage. They deal incredibly high damage for their assigned level, attack way faster than any other enemy in the game and cannot be effectively parried. The best that can be done in my experience is to pick away at them with arrows from a spot they can't reach, meaning melee builds are useless against them.

Anyone else find an effective way to deal with these guys besides exploiting the limited pathing AI?

1. the game in is current state is not meant to do combat in 1 class
2 minium/ 3 for best fights..
( all the people with the ability to host set server settings making the fights way harder then it needs to be)
2. combat is not balanced in most classes... the game current favors tank+ second class
and beast master/second class
3. every enemy in game currently in game
has a class weakness, element weakness. and element immunity

example the berskers are resistant to damage,
but will fall to shroud\ electric\ fire

they also have a berker range weakness so as long as the can get up to you you can kill them by getting on to building roof...

The only enemy in this game that I've actually had significant issues with is the Fell Sicklescythe. It took me forever to kill that guy. Since he's a flyer, I couldn't attack him with melee (my main class) so I had to use my bow (secondary class) and I kept running out of arrows. Not to mention his attacks deal stupid damage, and he throws them out quite often.

Curious if the Grounding Hook skill would help?

This is not correct.

Scavenger Berserkers are immune to Fire and Poison.

Their only weaknesses are ice and shroud damage.

These bad boys are simply neutral to other types of damage, both physical and magical, so they are definitely preferable to the former (fire and poison) if you have neither ice nor shroud damage.

As always, have fun!

Just a friendly bump because this guy needs to be nerfed.

My best tactic so far has been to get higher ground, and drop a few bombs on them to put them in a hole. Other than that, just try to stay out of melee range and get something solid between you and them; these green ones are super nasty.

I absolutely disagree. The Scavenger Berserkers and the Vukah Berserkers are what keep the tension going when I visit one of their camps.

Without those enemies, it would just be a walk in the - not so - friendly neighbourhood.

Have fun!

I've found that you can't just hack away with these guys. I usually wait for their attack , dodge and get some hits in then get out and repeat the process. Its also easier to deal with these guys if you can get out of their range of attack and bomb or arrow them to death.

The guys *I* dislike even more than these guys are the dual-wielding flame sword ones. Those guys hit HARD and then you take massive fire damage for a while after.

Agreed, i dont want nerf, you can already nerf them via the settings, just put their damage down and you will walk all over enemies.

The only time i had to flee and regroup to heal were against those 3 enemies, green bandit, berseker vukah and dual sword flame dude, those are the ones to watch for.

One thing they should do is give us some sort of 1 second stun immunity after being stunned, being stunlocked by tigers is not funny hehehe, specially if your server has double the enemies with everyone attacking at once.

Oh god I hate them. I usually try to confuse their path finding and get them stuck on the terrain then the wand. Feels pretty nice when you can finally out melee them.

they are the only enemy thats WELL TUNED currently. not overtuned. the rest is too slow and too easy compared. sadly killing them is never worth it and you can just run past em. they drop nothing of value like most enemies.
Begone jesters, he's right. Most combat in Enshrouded is a snoozefest without ramping up attack frequency. The only thing that comes close to the Berserker Raiders is the Hollowed Halls, and even then it's just because there's 20 copies of the same skeleton swarming you like bees, you can't stagger the casters (and you can't block/parry their spells), and the aggro abilities don't even work in there.
