Death locations need fixing
Am a huge fan of corpse runs (Called em CRs back in Everquest). However, the death mechanics need tweaking. I fell off a cliff in the shroud since I couldn't see where I was going. I smacked into another vertical ledge ans was killed. Problem is, once I returned during my corpse run my grave-marker was on the vertical portion of the cliff with no way to get my items back. This needs to be addressed please. However, freakin loving EVERYTHING else about the game. It's EQ, EQ2, Shadowbane, Warcraft and Rift all wrapped up into one game. Niiiiice!

Can you dig to your tombstone?

That Necromancer "skill" should include "Summon Corpse(grave)" - when X meters from grave, summon grave. Like having coffins with the necro from EQ except you are actually summoning your coffin in this game :P

Mine just got altogether lost. Marker was on map, corpse wasn't. Looked from all angles. and where the marker was on the map wasn't where I died, or even very close to it. It's possible that the corpse was there, just located inside the ground and therefor invisible. But I've died lots, and that only happened once, so I guess RIP lockpicks. :)

Bombs

I know this is something you cant do unless you farmed up before hand. But keep a few stacks of bombs back at base "Just in case" you can use them to quickly make steps up or down any cliff

Ive used this more then a few times

This happened to me. I built an altar at the bottom of the cliff, then built staircases up. But it was beyond the boundary of the altar, so I started pickaxing a path along the cliff. Quite a while later I got to the drop and retrieved everything. It was surreal, I just didn't want to leave the death marker on the map.

No actual corpses, just markers that hold all your missing stuff. When you die, the marker will be placed in the last safe location you passed (read: that's not in the shroud). The really cool thing about Enshrouded is that, no matter where your marker is, you'll probably be able to dig down/up to it. I just dug a path into the side of a mountain to get to mine.

I guess that is on purpose. Your death marker is always WHERE you jump into your death. So it is easier to collect it. So if you fall down a cliff in miasma you only have to go on top of the cliff where it is mostly save, than to dive deep in miasma.
