anvil in the pike port

trying to kill the first main boss but if i die my sword needs repairing, is there an anvil close by? iv looked all over

Found one. It's in the north east side of the Shanty Shacks. It has a sign hanging out front and has a cage door. https://imgur.com/a/Cbn7yVI

I'm surprised there was one. Those are usually features of a scavenger base. Sort of look like the marquis de sade ironing board.

What I did at Pikes was to drop an altar up on the hill above and to the east of the fortress. If I die, I'm a short glide from jumping back in the fight, but it also allows me to go home and grab more health pots or repair and then jump back to my altar right outside Pikes and try again. I have killed the boss at Pikes enough now, that I get him on the first try, but the altar there is still valuable, as it gives me access to a corner of the map that none of the spires do. It's a must-have altar spot for me.

The Anvil is not at the place where you can see the player's orange marker on this screenshot posted above. It's more in south east direction in one of the buildings there.
Another anvil you can find in the northern part of Pike's Port.

There is also one on the Huckster Square, near the shroud root. It's in one of the upper buildings with the double door. ("Krämerplatz" in the image being "Huckster Square")
