I think it's goofy that people put big rants and tantrums in the forum without doing a simple check first to see if the topic was recently posted. In your case, yes--multiple times. You could have answered your own rant before posting it. So it goes.
It is a relatively recent development, but: Starfield, Return to Moria, My Time at Sandrock, and Palworld. I'm pretty sure Fallout 76 has it as well, but it's been a while since I played so my memory is fuzzy.
Yes .. In demo he was NOT needed .. But was added for this purpose.
For Ark, 7 days to die, Conan Exiles, Valheim and even Minecraft mods add this.
Empyrion (iirc) had it natively.
Terratech World will have it but you need to connect the storages to the crafting stations with pipes.
That's at least the games i know.
I'd say this feature is about to become common. People realize that running around collecting items from multiple storages, then craft, than sort all left over items back into storages is just a waste of time and adds nothing to any game.
I even like the idea to put this feature into an actual game mechanic. With this it is immersively included into the game from which storages can pe pulled and which not.
I already use that. We have several non-magic chests filled with "emergency" ressources so nobody can unintenionally use them for spam crafting.
Yeah, I should've searched. Still, I wouldn't call what I wrote a rant. I made a request and gave a reasoned (if uninformed) justification.
For a new forum - like this, - this may be true. But for forum several years old, seach is obsolete, because you will be in the danger to be convicted for "necroin" a threat...
