Hunter yes but no Backpack

We have the Hunter in our base but not the possiblity to craft the backpack.
Did we need to do some quest that the backpack is craftable?

Sometimes you need yo build certain crafting stations in order to unlock new stuff with the survivors.

I believe you need the spinning wheel which gives you access to linen before you get the first backpack, but its been a while.

This is weird... I had no problem to craft a backpack with he hunder. Are you sure, you use the HUNTER and not your workbench (or even the hand-crafting) and are you sure, you have all materials available?
The only workstation, you unlock at first with the hunter is the drying-station (I don't know the exact english term...) You also need salt to use that. Then you must dry animal-skins first. if you have 4 of these, you can craft the (small) backpack, using the huntress.

The huntress will get you a quest, where you can farm salt. careful: this is a mine in the miasma... you should take out the miasma-root near there, first, I think this is the only way to get back, because the area is near a very steep cliff, Taking out the root, will get you an isle, where you can port back to your home, then. Another tipp: set an altar near the cliff, and you can get back to get more.

There is some space between workbench and the hunter, no misclick possible
and yes, i know i can switch "above" from Hunter to Enhance Equipment to manual crafting to backpack.

I explored the Saltmine.

One "Drying-rack" i directly placed near the hunter.

At the Hunters list, with craftable stuff, there is no "backpack"

BUT, i am first collect salt on a other place before i explored the Saltmine,
maybe this fact brings the issue?

I played Enshrouded because of the "SAVE-bug" a first, second and third time until LVL6.
And i am totally sure, i had the first small backpack before i made the spinning wheel quest!!

you need to get dried hide before you unlock the recipe for the bag. most recipes unlock when you pick up a new material for the first time.

This is it 100% what you gotta do... I did similar thinking "Ohh I'll do crafting later let me get the bag quest done first" not realizing it was hidden behind a material lol

For anyone finding this thread going forward...there was an update that moved the backpacks from the Hunter to the Bard, who was added in an update. If you want to find them, Follow The Music :)

Note: the first back pack is only made in manual crafting or workbench.
