bad performance
i have 2080 super and 9700k.

game has low fps even on dlss ultra performance. this occurs even in areas where performance reqs shouldn't even be that high (like indoors looking at ground).

on dlss ultra performance gpu usage is 40-60%.

any1 else have these problems or is it "skill issue" as you zoomers like to say it

3090 with i9-12900KF and 64gb ddr5 on an ssd and I can't even get 30 without DLSS ultra performance and even then it's BARELY 30

i updated my drivers and that provided a moderate increase to FPS but its still hitching and there are still fps drops even on balanced mode.

not sure what the issue is, hope they fix it!

I have multiple computers but essentially none of them have any issues and one of them is top tier, but i have one that is a 2070 standard (not super or anything) and it runs the game just fine no problem maxed out DLAA 60FPS non stop. Processor is literally the 9700k, i love that processor fyi.

The main thing i noticed though is i play it at 1080p 60fps maxed out everything.

The other thing is, in the nvidia control panel i always set the max frames of the games i play to 63 fps.

These cards are so awesome they will process data super fast and get all warm then throttle so i noticed doing this sometimes help.

P.S. Not saying your cards are throttling at all but this tip for some reason smooths the fps.

What is your GPU usage/render latency for the 2070? I tried your settings at 1080p on my 2080s and I'm getting 30fps 65ms latency

60fps, 16.3 latency.

That's extremely bad FPS and latency for a 2080. i am just saying. A 2080 is still a beast of a card.

Something is going on for sure sure.

Also, if you tried my settings, you wouldn't be getting "30 fps" that means your Vsync is on and locked to your monitor refresh rate which is 30hz. Check out the nvidia control panel and or windows configurations for display to change the refresh rate.

Getting 30FPS on a nvidia 1060 would make more sense. Nothing near a 2080 should be doing that.

I have a 2060 super, but an 11400f, runs well here.

Cpu might need an upgrade, the gpu isnt doing all the work with voxels.

I also have a 2080 super and setting the max FPS to 60 in the nvidia controller for Enshrouded helped with a lot of the latency. Every once and awhile i'll lag a bit when I get back to my base ( I think its all the crops (I have 10 of every one in the game)).

Crops don't cause a performance issue, they cause a CTD and minidump.

But only while farming literally 1000+ in a very very short period.
