Enshrouded are heavely based around beeing creative and build stuff. If you want a story rpg adventure game you should find something else :)

lol nope.. if you follow the (lore) there is a story there just not in a normal way also follow the quests and yes there it is the skyrimish crafting building game we have all wanted. As you explore and there is a lot. Look for glowing red notes they contain the "story/lore" . It really gets good as you progress. Hope this helps. btw this is just my thoughts =) oh and to answer the 2nd ? it depends on you. You can speed run in some hours or take your time and it has 100 of hours easy i'm liking it myself.

Not a story so much as lore you can find around the world, a lot of which will point out somewhere thats worth a visit.
