Journey to the center of the map...

So around 1am, I told myself just a bit longer and I will get off for bed, I just need to get a base in the center of the map... well four hours later, after desperately surviving and pushing as a level 5 through tough territory, I crest the mountain near the center of the map aaaaaaaaand... RED WALL...

So yeah, only like a third of the map is actually available. Not a problem but dang, sure did find out the hard way. This game is awesome. Til tomorrow, journey to the center of the map, you got me tonight.

No you dont. 60% of the map is walled of (by a red barrier where you die after 9 seconds) because of early acess. Stop spreading misinformation bucko.

wait so that red wall is just a "we haven't developed this far yet. you get to die?"
I ran into a red wall in the first quest where I have to find the blacksmith. I got all lost in the murk of the shroud and saw a tunnel that was red. took one step inside and BAM i was dead. I've only played for about 3 hours so have no idea what I'm doing.
Side note how does one navigate through the shroud? I keep getting so lost. Other than that great game

Managed to climb up to the castle near the ancient bridge in the north, also red wall and all entrances are bricked up :(
