Scrapping crafted gear

I miss the option to scrap the items you craft (armour, weapons etc.); the only option at the moment is to delete them if you need inventory space, but that's just a waste of resources spent on crafting them. Can you consider implementing an upgrade for the workbench or a separate workstation, like dismantling bench, that would allow to scrap, disassemble or otherwise salvage the items you crafted but no longer use?

Yeah there is only a very limited salvaging system in place right now for weapons you didn't craft. Disappointing.

What bugs me about the weapon salvage is, that I sit on like 2.8k runes where I don't know how to spend them. ^^"
Anyway, the game has just been released in EA, so let's see what's comming down the road.

Put the gear in a chest smash the chest pick up the gear that will now be scrappable some how.

As long as "scrapping" them does not give you those blue things used to enhance items (sorry, I'm having a brainfart and can't remember what they are called!). But it would be nice to at least get some of your materials back (hides, dried fur, etc). It's not a game-breaker for me, but it would be nice.

I think you mean those runes you get when scrapping weapons found in the world)) And I don't mean you should get them when scrapping items you crafted yourself; however, it should be possible to scrap or dismantle the gear you crafted and get at least some materials back.

a note that i haven't seen mentioned anywhere;

make sure the item you want to salvage is unequipped or it will not let you salvage it.
