Building takes too long

Hi guys just starting out, and tried to build quite good looking base at start, since I love it and it took forever. I build 2 floors house 3x7 in like 3 hours. In valheim I could build a fort in that time. Idk about you guys, but I need admin commands and flying or else never again. Is just me or someone else is frustated with this system?

I like the system.

I managed to build a mansion and I'm really proud of it because of how hard it was to build.

I've unlocked far better materials now and plan to make a grand wizards tower and I'm looking forward to it

I built a starter base that has pretty much lasted the entire amount of content available in about 90 minutes...

You need admin commands and flying to build a base ASAP and be able to enjoy the game? I dont think Enshrouded is focused on base building, its just a decent side feature. If you want your gameplay to be all about building forts right away, wouldn't you just play something like City: Skylines or just do your admin commands and not worry about it? Im confused. You are trying to claim the game is bad because you got tiktok brain or what?

It's an RPG with building and "survival lite" elements. That being said, I haven't had a problem crafting a sizable base to stick all the crafting stuff in within my first hour. Break everything for mats, and don't try to build a pure flint building and it isn't bad. Certainly quicker than Conan Exiles or any other pure survival game I've played and the voxel system allows for a lot of customization.

It certainly takes a bit to build a "good" base, but that's up to preference really. I built my first base in like half an hour, and I wasn't going to heavily on it above ground. I went full kilter below ground though and am still working on it in my singleplayer world whenever I get a chance. It's the multiplayer world that me and my friends are building that has our more expansive basses, and while they've worked on it over like 3 hours, that's half the fun in getting things to look nice.

Then you're doing something wrong. Material gathering and building is quite fast compared to many other survival games. Upgraded tools will help your gathering speed.

No need you can place platforms in mid air while jumping or falling and remove them again just by right clicking them

I don't know man, most other survival games I can think of are much more time heavy for materials and construction. At least in my experience.

Then again, I still have a very simple base and am just getting to the point where I want to expand and experiment more.

Yes I have tiktok brain, and you are toxic. I suggest going outside al least once a week, trust me it will help you.

I cant joke around with you without being considered toxic? Just embrace it for what it is and let yourself have that adjustment period. Im sure you will make something you like eventually and if it takes more time then oh well, maybe you will appreciate it more? (please shower immediately)

I mean, if you can build so quickly and fluently in Valheim then I can't imagine this system is beyond your ability to grasp.
That system had a lot more quirks to figure out imo

Are you building using single 1x1 blocks at a time? The time it takes you to build sounds like you're not using the building tools to it's full potential.

You forgot you bought an early acces game. You are the guiny pig for the devs to find out what works and what not.
Basicly we only play 30% of the game and the rest is still in develeopment.
So dont ask for stuff you find in a ready made game bacause this is not that game.
