Mods?
OK, so I'm stating the obvious when I say, this looks very much like a cool Skyrim. And as such, what are the modding possibilities of this title? From character transformations (like BodySlide/CBBE) to full-scale expansions (like Falskaar)? Can I hope or is this not going to be thing? I'm sure we'll get the flurry of typical reshades, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'd be most interested if the devs themselves would chime in. Bitte teilen Sie uns hierzu Ihre Meinung mit. :D

***Update***
As predicted, of the 9 mods on NexusMods so far, 8 are reshades with 1 cheat table.

There are no modding capabilities currently available from the devs, but they will consider it during or after EA. Here their official response:

Will the game support mods?
There are no questions that mods are what makes a game truly great, but at this stage, we cannot make promises that the game will be moddable, but it is something we would love to implement in the future.

Would be a damn shame to not have mods in this. Games like this are made for mods.

Thanks for the link to their official response on this very important subject. Hmm... well, I hope it's a thing they implement as so far I see me playing it for one go-through and then on to the next hype train.
Personally I'd like to see a mod that changes the character, and likely noc races. Don't get me wrong, it's good as is. However I've been playing fantasy games for a long time. So he all to common human appearance is getting old and redundant to me these days.
Along with mods, the ability to make custom maps would be amazing as well. Being a voxel game, I think this should be fairly easy. I've been playing a very old game (Far Cry 2) that included an amazing map editor, even on console (PS3).

For me Enshrouded is first and foremost an exploration game. When I run out of map to explore, I run out of reason to play. Thankfully I'm a long way from that, but someday I'll be looking for more!

I agree about the custom maps bit. Ark Survival Evolved has them, all player-made, and they are popular! At least the devs will Consider adding mod support after the game releases.

I remember reading somewhere that the eventual level cap will be 50. So expect another 2 or 3 zones to come out before release!

Agreed. Wholeheartedly. Mods would be outstanding when this game is completed. I've been thinking about it since I first bought and started playing this beautiful game.
