with that being said, this is something that popped up a brunch of times, therefore I hope the devs are already aware of this and fix it soon.
. 20 ore for 1 tin bar sounds worse than it actually works out to be.
In the meantime, if you go to Nomad Highlands spire/tower and smash every vase/container on the way up and check every bench on each level, you will come away with 4-8 bronze bars, 2-4 copper bars, and 4-6 tin bars. And it's repeatable. I think repeating the towers is fun and challenging.
And while that may be true; RNGesus hates some of us. So finding a full set, or at least the pieces of the sets, of whatever we want, isn't all that 'easy'. Making crafting the more viable and reliable option.
Well some of us play solo. We don't got 5 friends that want to hop in the same world at the same time and 'strip mine' an area, in a few hours. So 20 ore for 1 bar seems just a bit unreasonable.
Yeah, it's correct. When you find tin you can mine a lot of it, and tin bars + copper bars make more bronze bars so you're confused on the conversion for making bronze. Just do it and have the reaction after you've actually worked with bronze. You're doing the knee-jerk thing without even progressing far enough to see how it works.
This is terrible advice but I suppose if you want to do the save scum/farming routine that's up to you. Cheating/cheesing only affects your enjoyment in this non-PVP game.
Faster to get tin that way than to mine it lmao (making tin bars yourself is currently a farce), plus you get other stuff too, and sometimes decent chests. Just exit to menu and reload to reset everything and farm as much as you want.
I like the bronze tiles, so it makes tin REALLY expensive for me haha
