let me find that one meassage i found on there discord again.....

"Enshrouded's demo map was about 1 km², Early Access is about 24 km², and full release will be around 64 km²"

wich means alot of things could be found later on

There's snow, but the area is undeveloped (though reachable) - I expect this will be released after the L25 cap is unleashed.

only about a third of the map is available for now. I wouldn't expect large bodies of water, and likely no bodies of water at all, due to the game being voxel based though

Could be in the future. Current EA map size is a very small area of the map. I kinda doubt the map will actually be as big as it shows now on release. There's definitely a lot of explore already, but I think the devs might have been a bit optimistic when they set out the size for the full map. It'll take forever to create it all

7 Days to Die is voxel based and has voxel water, so it is doable. I'd like to see water as well.

yeah, it is doable but it's computationally expensive and difficult to do. This game is already extremely demanding and is pushing the limits of graphical fidelity in voxel based games, 7 Days to Die is not.

Water is fun though. So if they can figure out how to add it, I'd be all for it.

Same, I would love to see it. I'm just not expecting it given the tiny voxels they're using for the world. 7 Days to Die and games like Minecraft are using much larger, and fewer, voxels so it's easier for water to look halfway decent without killing performance

Maybe just small pond areas rather than lakes and oceans then.

Just keen on building an indoor swimming pool and a moat

with a glider with 350 or 400 at some point. it will be fun if you need to glide from one end map to another :) like wow where u got on a ship and bamm u in a new area.. hope they make the map bigger and bigger and not to forget BIGGER . but as valheim all comes to those who wait ;)

No there's none of that at about 60 most people would have explored the whole map, the map is actually quite small.

With respect to voxels and water, try Rising World. I accidentally, literally undermined a lake and it flooded the mine, plus dropped the water level of the lake.
