(Double) Jump and Glide need separate key bindings

At my age, double jump often results in gliding which I don't want. This could easily be fixed for me (and probably countless others) if there were separate key bindings for Jump and Glide. The default can be both set to "space" and the current behavior remains the same or set the Glide key bind to something else ("G" comes to mind).

Please consider this as an enhancement request.

Rip off Warframe. Swap the controls. Use RMB to start gliding and jump to cancel.

Thanks, just changed my controls. Mouse button only to glide, jump space bar. Now I can just jump on the Blackmire Spire instead of triggering gliding and having to start over

side note: IMO, they need adjust the distance one gets from jumping off ladders or fences as I have died/almost died a number of times from accidentally jumping off, thinking, like in other games, that I'd jump/fall straight down, only to find that I am vaulted back at such a distance that I fall past the platform at the bottom.

In these case, I panic bc I wasn't expecting it, but by then, I forget to open the glider...

I am having a problem gaining altitude. When I try to go higher, it does not work for me. I seems video of the glider going up when, it begins to descent. Is there a key to make it go up higher when you are flying? I have try every key! Help

The "Updraft" skill let you do this once in a glide.

Was really struggling with this today for some reason. Any time I want to jump, I glide instead, especially in any situation that will get me killed. When I actually want to glide, nope, input gets eaten and nothing happens. I would really like to be able to separate the jump and glide keys, or barring that, at least make them work consistently. I never know what I'm going to get when I press that button. Maybe I jump. Maybe I glide. Maybe I do nothing. Maybe flaming monkeys explode out of my butt. Who knows?

We already _have_ separate keys for glide/jump now,
It was added. Can bind them to diff keys.

So a lil necro considering that? ^^

Prove it. The post was made at the end of Jan, so its more like 7 months.

Maybe I am wrong, but I would think a post from a year or more would be 'nerco.'

Just curious, what do you think constitutes an old movie? What timeframe? 7 months? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years?

EDIT: oh, looking back at my post, I think you misinterpreted the 'wahh' to be tears ha! It was supposed to be me saying: 'What' in a funny way. My bad for that.
