What's missing from Valheim?
I heard a lot has been added here from other games, but my question is what's missing? Valheim for me was a really enjoyable game where things just fall into place. I know that this game has a food system and rested buff system, but I wonder what things in Valheim aren't here?

This was a gimmicky mechanic which I frankly ended up enjoying. Sad 🙁but it's not a deal breaker.

I don't use mods. Apart from this, what else?

No water or sailing, No taming pets or mounts. Enemies are not very challenging

I was wondering the same, I mean this game does have a more refined terrain terraforming system, but lacks fluid dynamics (understandable as fluids would be hell of a hard thing to code with the terrain forming), but in exchange its linear, as in the world always looks the same for every play.
I get Valheim is rough to look at, I actually like the overall look but I get its hard to appreciate at the start, but each seed is different, it has water, I like water, it has weather... it doesn't have annoying static npcs shouting OI every 5 seconds at you... in Valheim I would of dump that tosser into a pit, and make a stone foundation on top, with a ♥♥♥♥ statue on top to remind me why.

I get it looks nice, sounds great in the adventuring but seems bleh overall , lacks variety in the world, also the building while very smooth, is also very rigid ... but I must say it is very well done in the way it melds the parts and fits together... still it makes squares, nice squares but squares.

I know we have a ways to go with EA and all, but Valheim wins it for me. If only Valheim had the terraforming that Enshrouded has, it would be one of the best of its kind. 7 Days still wins for me as far as building and terraforming.

So far from what I’ve seen, this game is going to get boring fast for me. I’m not even particularly excited to play it but it’s the only game my one buddy will play so we do a few hours every few days or so.

Many things, but a couple I've missed...
- How tree's fall after you cut them down, making tree domino farms...
- Base raids were often terrifying but always so much fun once I ate some food and found my armor- lol.

So basically this game has better Terraforming? I also don't get the talk on fluid part, sorry.

But in terms of visuals, I did look at the screenshots and think the building looks good. But I don't think looking good is enough if they don't have functions like Valheim (where for example, a deco for a forge or crafting table acts as parts to level up the forge or crafting table).

I am really looking forward to the exploration aspect of this game, but it would be nice if it kept some of the things which Valheim does, but that game is really gold (except maybe for Valheim's combat which is sh*t, but it's bearable).

Funny answer 😂 but I can relate to this especially with the trees part. That grew on me, haha. When I played Palworld (I'm still thinking of refunding that game), me and my friends who came from Valheim instinctively move away after chopping down a tree. Ahh those were good times.
