World devoid of Lapis?

I've checked some spots shown by guides and YT videos, and I have yet to see any lapis lazuzli in my single player world.

I'm assuming you're in the kindelwastes?

I run into it all over the place in the wastes, in fact it was starting to annoy me as I wasn't sure what iron looked like when I was looking for it and kept running into lapis instead of iron.

Yup. Been looking for anything close to Kindlewaste Spire so I can drop a marker down. I'm at level 5 on the flame, so I can't check the shroud areas in the south-eastern corner of the map yet.

No idea what that is, where in relation to Kindle Spire is it?

I'm not in game right now, but looked it up to see if I could find a decent map and found this:

Just below the title Head South is a decent map to follow.

Yeah, that was one of the guides I saw. For whatever reason, the 1st spot shown only had a single piece of Lapis for me. The 2nd spot had nothing.

I'll exit and re-launch, see if that gets some to spawn.

Figured out my issue. I had the Small Foliage setting turned to off to save frames. Apparently this also makes ores near-invisible. I changed it and now I can see ores everywhere.
