Quest level?

So, I'm having a blast with the game, but ran into a bit of a snag. While doing what seems to be the natural progression, I ran into a area where the mobs were somewhat over my level, and after a difficult but very fun battle, managed to defeat them, then as I moved a bit further towards my quest objective, they got even higher level.

My character is level 7, and I recently finished gathering all of the NPCs and started working on their quests. I was doing the Hunter's Hand Spindle quest, and that's where I started to run into these higher level mobs. First level 11, then 13, then a single level 15. They can be beat, but don't miss a dodge- some of these can one-shot you with that level difference.

My question is, is there any kind of indication or guide anywhere to indicate at what level you should try to take on these quests, or a map somewhere with level indicators for different areas?

Its pretty simple - try to keep your weapons level at enemies level. If they are much higher, you will have a hard time in combat. In this case go back to a lower area, farm abandoned villages/towns for better gear (you can upgrade gear level via npcs) until you reach a higher level and then progress again.

Its not that obvious but the games scales enemy level really hard. +1/2 is doable, but 3+ is really hard because they might also onehit you.

keeping gear up to par is very difficult. Most crafted gear isnt that great, and making gear my level or level of the mobs requires first getting through those mobs. So to make the level 13 wizar set you must battle past level 20 mobs to get the mats. as a wizard though, anything my level can drop me in one or two hits, so i just maintain food buffs, and most importantly REST buff as high as i can get it. Im up to level 40 comfort and a 50 minute rest buff. Its the most important thing for me.

The game don't gives you any information about levels, not at quests, not at biomes, etc. Progressing is confusing because you don't know exactly where to go or in what order to do quests and because quests from different crafters are linked between them so you don't unlock this resource or that crafting from a specific crafter without doing a quest from another.

I have found a guide about biomes and supposed levels because i also was finding harder enemies and lack the equimpent to resist even 2 hits from them.

Just search for "Enshrouded biome list and progression guide" and you will find it. Not linking it here in case Steam blocks my comment, but it's from Gamerguides dot com and thanks to that basic info (which imo should be in the game) i have a much better perspective of what i'm doing ;)
