Durability of Gear is too Low.

Please fix this, fight a few groups of mobs and my wand breaks. get tired of carrying three extra wands to go exploring. Maybe raise the numbers a little or give us a repair kit to craft and take with.

Take the level 1 perk for 50% more durability? Or carry a backup? No need to fix something that isn't broken to begin with, when you start using stuff that isnt made with rotting wood and string it lasts longer.

A weapon is a tool though, its literally a tool to make you more efficient at killing. I just assumed it would still work, but have not tested it.

After playing games like 'Raft' the durability here is slightly annoying but by no means is it impossible to deal with.

Game design generally doesn't apply semantics or explore philosophical meanings. They use strict categorization. Tools are tools and weapons are weapons. The string could be wrong tho, also didn't test it yet.

I think the durability is purposeful due to repairs being instant and free. also with there being anvils out and about while exploring that can repair your stuff for free I never really have a durabilit problem unless I just flat out forget to repair them until they break.

get better wands. I ended up exploring last night for over an hr.. was doing a quest and seen a squirrel.. But my wands lasted me the entire time. Don't always depend on them. I use a bow for the most part with 2 diff. wands before I found a repair bench it was almost done.

Make sure you upgrade them.

Almost every bandit camp has an anvil you can use to repair gear.

This is definitely true, regardless if SOME camps have anvils. Not all of them do. I went through one town killing stuff once and my weapons was broke before I even finished. It was a small town of only 7 or 8 building too.

No good reason for stuff to break so fast.

+1 to be honest.. they need options.. they need to add a LOT of game options. If I could just turn durability off I would. Every game should have this option in the difficulty and game-play settings.

build altar and workbench. when you travel and need a quick waypoint, drop the altar and workbench for a quick fix. issue solved. stones to build the altar is literally everywhere so it shouldn't be an issue.
